What a beautiful start of the week! One year after the inspiring experience of Tool Fair in Estonia, just received the link of the Tools for learning magazine - and unexpectedly I've found two drawings about my workshops as well.

Learning by doing

I'm preparing a short workshop about learning by doing, but the topic is simply too huge for 1 hour... so after 3 hours of preparation I still have too much things to say...

'I didn't actually catch anything, but....'

learning tools

I was looking for some learning tools... and as I see I've found all!
So it simply forced me to retrospect a bit.

the rod: hmmm....
pencils: still in love!
Missing link: ROTRING!!! 
text books: plenty of space to draw
slate: my Grandpa spoke about it
hornbook: same
chalkboard: once I had to wrote an essay why I can not touch it with hand...
typewriter: Murder, she wrote
teaching machine: sorry what?
test cards: language exam
slide projector: art history lessons
overhead projector: math tests
videotape: ;)
cd-rom: not in the school
calculators: lost some
highlighters: never used in a book
graphing calculator: no thanks
internet: at the dormitory
laptop: the first was around 10 kilogramms
the rest is sci-fi, especially robot teacher...
